Webster & Company
Webster & Company was founded in 1991 by David Webster at the Boston Design Center. Beginning with only 3,500 square feet and 3 employees, Webster was one of the smallest showrooms in the 500,000 square foot building. Peter Webster joined his father’s business in 1999 and helped lead Webster’s successful expansion to 21,000 square feet and many more brands.

Education: The Art Institute of Boston/ Course Programs at Mass College of Art and MIT. Established Graphic Design Firm in Boston 1968-1990. Graphics Etcetera Inc. specialized in the production of elementary and high school textbook programs. Established Webster & Company 1991-Present. Webster & Company is a wholesale, to the trade showroom, representing many fabric, wallcovering, furniture, and lighting manufacturers. Clients include architects, interior designers, and hotel specifiers.

Peter Webster, Vice President, COO
Peter Webster is currently the Vice President of Webster and Company, Ltd. and President of Webster Enterprises, located in Boston, MA and Naples, FL respectively. The Webster Companies are luxury to-the-trade businesses, which cater to the
wholesale home furnishings industry within design centers. Peter has grown up in the business and has spent most his career working as an executive at Webster & Company. Peter has been involved in every aspect of the business and runs all
day-to-day operations for Webster & Company today. Mr. Webster currently oversees the operation of a combined 42,000 square feet of showroom space in Boston and Florida, employing over 30 sales and service associates. Prior to Peter’s ten years in the luxury home furnishings industry, he was a licensed retail broker for Fidelity Investments at their Park Avenue, NY office. Mr. Webster resides in Boston’s South End and is a graduate of Hamilton College.
